Best 5 Tips From A Two-Year-Old To Get Unstuck
“I’m done. I want to get down.” Two-year-old Jonathan sat at the table. He stared at a plate full of celery and carrots chopped up into small pieces.
“Are you finished eating?” His aunt Rebecca asked.
“No.”
“Well, then you need to finish eating your carrots and celery.”
He waited a few minutes. Then he ate the carrots.
“Can I get down?”
“Are you finished?”
“Yes.”
Rebecca looked over at his plate, “You need to finish eating your celery.”
Jonathan squished his eyebrows and turned his mouth down, “I don’t like it. I want to get down.”

83 Year Old Woman Inspires Strength To Work
I noticed her hunched over the shopping baskets in Walmart. She’s a greeter, a tiny lady with gray hair but she is strong! We have chatted before so I stopped to talk to her when I went Walmart today. I shared that I felt tired from teaching at the high school all day.
She leaned on a shopping cart, “I am tired too. I don’t bounce back the way I did when I was 70. At 70 I could work 8 to 10 hours a day, drive home and get my energy back by the time I arrived home.”

Discomfort in Pursuing Your Dreams
Growth only comes when you allow yourself to be uncomfortable.
Once you achieve one goal and you’re comfortable, then it’s time to allow yourself to be uncomfortable as you press into the next challenge.
Regardless of your age, stretch yourself in pursuing your dreams and desires mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically.
Growth isn’t fun or easy but it’s necessary for the next level of achievement. Athletes understand this principle and inspire us to do the same.
Strength to strength.
Glory to glory.

Stay Out of the middle of a Quarrel
“Like one who grabs a stray dog by the ears
is someone who rushes into a quarrel not their own.”
Have you ever jumped into the middle of a quarrel and later realized it wasn’t your problem to solve? In the meantime maybe someone turned around and attacked you and you got hurt.
Wisdom comes when you know what is your responsibility to fix and what is not. People need to settle their own issues with each other. If you care about the individuals involved it’s not easy to stay out of the middle but it’s wisdom that protects you.

Stretch Yourself in New Ways to Find Strength
This week, a local fitness center, Crossfit Siloam has a special called, “Kill a Friend” (LOL) and they’re offering free classes.
As I grow older, I’m intentional about doing the things that renew and protect my health. Some of you may know about the green smoothies, gluten and sugar free diet and Young Living Essential oils I use that have changed my life and health for the better in the last couple of years.
Though I walk for exercise, I decided that I need to get my body stronger so I decided to try Crossfit. An encouraging, cheerful young man greeted me and had me squat down, put out my hands. “Now get up.”

How Pressure and Chocolate Can Be Good For You
Today I felt totally stressed out. I have a great opportunity to speak to share my program, “Why and How to Write Your Story,” The speaking event is a good opportunity to educate, empower and equip others to write their stories.
I have a lot to do to get ready for it and many decisions to make which make me feel a lot of pressure because I want to do it right. In the midst of thinking all these issues through, I had a sudden craving for chocolate. 🙂 I’m health conscious so I’ve purchased raw cocoa because of it’s superior health benefits and came up with my own variation of a raw chocolate recipe.
Give Thanks For Small Acts of Kindness
Yesterday when I shopped in our local grocery store, right when I needed something. a sales clerk rounded the corner and asked, “Are you finding everything?”
I smiled, “You appeared at the right time because I’m actually looking for. . .” and I told her what I needed.
She immediately said, “Well this is over here. I’ll take you there,” Then she told me where the other item was. After I finished with the first one and walked into the main aisle, she came out to make sure I got to the right place for the second item.

Keys to Success ~ Diligence Leads to Profit
Have you ever bought a product personally or for your business that you thought would profit you but in the end it didn’t?
We’ve all had that experience.
An online promotion says you need to act by a certain time to take advantage of their offer and you make a hasty decision. You lose your time and money acting in haste and end up poorer for it.
In another scenario, you sign up for something legitimate but you’re not diligent about implementing what you bought.
King Solomon, one of the wisest men who ever lived, made this observation.

You Don’t Have to Worry About Competition
When you know who you are and
What you have to offer
You don’t have to worry about competition
Because
No one can be who you are or
Can do it in the way you can do it
Even if others offer similar services
YOU are unique and special
You have a niche no one can fill

Wisdom For Every Decision You Make
Do you ever wonder if you’re making the right decision or the best decision you could make?
My friend’s husband had died a year and a half ago after a long and happy marriage. She confided in me. “Now that I’m alone, there’s a number of business decisions and then decisions on the house I have to make by myself. Sometimes I wonder if I’m making the right one.”
“I understand how you feel. I feel that way too sometimes. I find it challenging sometimes to make decisions by myself now too. I like the idea that God will give us wisdom for every decision we make.
