My Hair Loss Recovery
“Oh no! What am I going to do?”
In January, my hair fell out in chunks like the picture shows, four or five chunks at a time, every time I washed my hair. In the morning when I woke up, hair covered my pillow and my hairbrush was full of hair. After several weeks, I began to notice thinning and even bald spots on my head.
I panicked!
Finally, I decided to go see my doctor. “What is going on? What can I do?”
He told me that it was probably because I was so sick a couple of months ago. In November, I had a severe case of pneumonia.

Stretch Yourself in New Ways to Find Strength
This week, a local fitness center, Crossfit Siloam has a special called, “Kill a Friend” (LOL) and they’re offering free classes.
As I grow older, I’m intentional about doing the things that renew and protect my health. Some of you may know about the green smoothies, gluten and sugar free diet and Young Living Essential oils I use that have changed my life and health for the better in the last couple of years.
Though I walk for exercise, I decided that I need to get my body stronger so I decided to try Crossfit. An encouraging, cheerful young man greeted me and had me squat down, put out my hands. “Now get up.”

How Pressure and Chocolate Can Be Good For You
Today I felt totally stressed out. I have a great opportunity to speak to share my program, “Why and How to Write Your Story,” The speaking event is a good opportunity to educate, empower and equip others to write their stories.
I have a lot to do to get ready for it and many decisions to make which make me feel a lot of pressure because I want to do it right. In the midst of thinking all these issues through, I had a sudden craving for chocolate. 🙂 I’m health conscious so I’ve purchased raw cocoa because of it’s superior health benefits and came up with my own variation of a raw chocolate recipe.
A Friend Who Always Drags Me Down
Do you feel draggy a lot? Take a look at your sugar consumption.
White sugar and I are not good friends.
Sugar is one friend who always brings me down. LOL! Not only that, sugar is a friend who makes me irritable.
Honestly I got tired of the roller coaster high and then crashes sugar used to take me on. Sugar would have me singing the blues, make my mind fuzzy and leave me to walk around in a mental fog. I do not regret leaving my friendship with sugar.

Keep Fit and Enjoy Long Life
“These are farm eggs. See how big they are. Daisy came by with eggs today and handed them to me to give to my friend Rebecca. “No one wants them because they’re yellow in the middle. People are used to the pale yokes. Those pale ones have chemicals added to the feed they give to the chickens. These are from chickens that eat grass and whole grain and corn. That’s it.”
” I can’t believe! People don’t want the farm eggsThey would be more nutritious.” I opened the carton and examined the big eggs.

You Don’t Need to be Sick, Weak and Poor
God does not need you sick, weak and poor to keep you dependent on Him.
This belief system is a lie perpetuated by the enemy of your soul who wants to steal, kill and destroy you.
Instead God comes to you when you’re sick, weak and poor to heal, strengthen and prosper you.
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” John 10:10
