The most amazing thing happened this morning!
I caught a glimpse of the sunrise outside my window so I rushed to put on my clothes so I could go out and enjoy the beauty.
I had been listening to Psalms for early morning encouragement but I decided to turn off my electronic device and simply listen to the birds chirp and savor the creative formation of the clouds.
Suddenly, I became aware that God walked beside me. Wow, I’ve never experienced that before. Though I’ve felt Him many times and sensed His
presence or Him speaking to me, I had never experienced Him walking with me. So unbelievably awesome!
An old hymn came to mind, “And He walks with me and He talks with me and He tells me I am His own. And the joy we share as we tarry there, none other has ever known.” from “In the Garden”
God is always there for us whether we see Him or not. He walks with you and I. He cares for you and I. He is a personal God and this characteristic of His is the one that endears our hearts to Him the most.
“God, Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. I will not, I will not, I will not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let down relax My hold on you! Assuredly not!” Hebrews 13:5 (Amplified)
