Wisdom Will Reward You

“We are drowning in information, while starving for wisdom. The world henceforth will be run by synthesizers, people able to put together the right information at the right time, think critically about it, and make important choices wisely.” E.O. Wilson

Imagine there’s a solution for every problem you face, a place of peace in the midst of life’s challenges.

Imagine a place of comfort when you’re stressed.

Imagine a way to prosper in tough times and provision for all you need.

Imagine you can find purpose in your suffering and hope in despair.

Imagine you can find beauty in everyday life, even in the ugly places of life.

Would you want to know how to find those places?

My whole life changed when I discovered these benefits by seeking wisdom.

Wisdom has been a life-long pursuit of mine and on this website, I will share with you the treasures I’ve gained on my journey.

Did you ever go on a treasure hunt when you were a child?

Wasn’t it fun?

I remember the sense of adventure looking for the clues with my team and eventually finding the hidden treasure. Then we’d win the prize and what joy there was.

Or maybe you went on a vacation to a new place you’d never been before. As you visited new places and experienced new things, what fun and satisfaction you had.

Or how about searching for gold nuggets or diamonds, did that ever intrigue you? Did you ever wonder what it would be like to find all that wealth?

You’ve probably seen movies as I have, with treasure hunts and imagined yourself in those scenes.

If you enjoyed that sense of adventure and discovery then you would like the wisdom adventure. Wisdom may seem that it belongs to sages but actually, it’s for anyone who seeks it.

Wisdom can seem heavy and serious but wisdom can also be a lot of fun and funny.

On this website, I would like to invite you join with me in the search for wisdom and truth.

You can experience excitement and satisfaction as you discover new gems of wisdom to store in your own treasure chest.

You can find perspective and comfort when life’s troubles crash into your life as unwelcome guests.

You can find provision for your every need and ways to prosper in tough times.

You can find solutions to the everyday problems you face.

One of my favorite sources of wisdom is the Bible. You may not share my faith and that’s okay. You are welcome here and I invite you to stay and even revisit because we all have a common desire to know and do what is right. We have common problems and can benefit from the search for wisdom.

Linger on this site and enjoy the nuggets you’ll find here and share your own with us.

Solomon, one of the wisest men who ever lived, said wisdom is supreme. He declares in Proverbs 3 ~

  • Wisdom will profit you more than silver or gold and is more precious than rubies.
  • Nothing you desire can compare to wisdom.
  • He even urges you to get wisdom if it costs you all you have.

That is how important wisdom is to your everyday life. Among the many benefits of wisdom listed in Proverbs 2 and 3 are ~

  • Long life
  • Health
  • Favor with your friends, family and business relationships

On this website, I’ll share with you the treasures I’ve discovered and I hope you will interact with me in the comments or via email and share your discoveries as well.

In addition to the adventure of wisdom, as I mentioned earlier, sometimes you need wisdom to deal with tough situations. Life can be complicated, challenging and may even seem more difficult than you wish.

  • Maybe you’ve invested in relationships that didn’t turn out the way you wish or maybe your relationships are good but you still hunger for more.
  • Maybe you or someone in your family or close friends battle health issues.
  • Maybe even you invested money in things that have met a need but in the end you still feel a little empty. I don’t know about you but I’ve gone down some of those paths.
  • Maybe even you ever feel a little dissatisfied in your life? You’ve tried different things that have brought some satisfaction but not the depth of satisfaction you desire.

You can find a source of wisdom and peace even in the midst of some of life’s most serious challenges. Wisdom can give you ~

  • Lessons to be found in suffering
  • Meaning and purpose in your life
  • Ability to face and overcome life challenges
  • Comfort when your heart is breaking
  • Strength when you feel you can’t go on

Wisdom can also give you a depth of satisfaction you didn’t know existed. Isaiah, a prophet in the Old Testament says,

“Why spend money on what is not bread,
and your labor on what does not satisfy?

Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good,
and your soul will delight in the richest of fare.”  Isaiah 55:2 (NIV)

Wisdom invites us, “Listen, for I have worthy things to say;
I open my lips to speak what is right.” Proverbs 8:6 (NIV)

Listen with me to what wisdom has to say, eat what is good and find satisfaction. Let’s enjoy together the riches that are available to us.

Come on this wisdom adventure with me and see what we find. Put your name and email in the box on the right of this page so you won’t miss any of the treasures I find and be sure and share yours with me as well.
